The Magnet Certified Forensics Examiner (MCFE) certification is an accreditation that showcases an examiners’ expert-level competence with Magnet Forensics products to peers, internal stakeholders and external audiences, including legal teams or clients. The Magnet Certified Graykey Examiner (MCGE) certification is an accreditation that showcases an examiners’ expert-level competence using Graykey to peers, internal stakeholders and external audiences, including legal teams or clients. Our certification program is free to users who have completed the prerequisite training courses.

The Magnet Certified Verakey Examiner (MCVK) certification is an accreditation that showcases an examiners’ expert-level competence using Verakey to peers, internal stakeholders and external audiences, including legal teams or clients. Our certification program is free to users who have completed the prerequisite training courses.

This course will prepare students to use Medex in complex authenticity or file origin cases and provide expert opinion testimony in court. Students will gain foundational knowledge of how digital video is encoded and stored in order to provide an expert analysis of it. It will also focus on the use of Medex in performing complex authentication examinations of digital video (including deepfake videos) as well as identifying the source of unknown video files.

Forensic Fundamentals (AX100) is a beginner-level course, designed for participants who are unfamiliar with the principles of digital forensics. GK200 is an intermediate-level four-day training course, designed for participants who are familiar with the principles of digital forensics and are seeking to expand their knowledge base into iOS and Android examinations using Magnet Graykey. Students must be part of a law enforcement agency and must be cleared in advance to attend this course.
