Magnet Certified macOS Examiner

Description

MCME certification is an accreditation that showcases an examiners’ expert-level competence in macOS investigations using Axiom to peers, internal stakeholders and external audiences, including legal teams or clients. Certification is free to users who have completed the prerequisite training courses. 

The test is administered online is presented as a timed evaluation having 75 questions to be completed over the course of 120 minutes. Students will be presented with materials featuring digital evidence items that are to be downloaded and processed prior to starting the timed evaluation. In order to certify as an MCME Students must complete the exam and attain an 80% score or higher.

 If a student does not reach the 80% score on their first attempt, they will be able to immediately take a second attempt of the certification. If that student is unsuccessful a second time, they will be placed on a 60-day delay before getting another attempt at the test.


Qualifying for the MCME
In order to successfully qualify for the MCME, students must complete the following course:

  • AX350 Magnet Axiom macOS Examinations

 Certification is free to users who have completed the prerequisite training course.
